Due to personal circumstances, in my late forties I chose to reinvent my life and that path led me to coaching and teaching. I know what it feels like to not know who you are anymore and be unsure about which direction to head and I want to share with others what I have learned.
The path to becoming a wellness professional happened quite organically for me. My career began with my own 20+ year yogic practice, to becoming a teacher of meditation and yoga, to becoming a health & wellness coach.
For over twenty years, I have personally witnessed the importance meditation and regular exercise can have on both the mind and body. In last few years I have had several friends become ill with life-altering illnesses, and I came to the realization that we must have an integrative approach to our health that includes both the body and mind and include a sense of purpose. We need to be balanced physically, mentally and emotionally.
In addition to seeing private clients, I am also blessed to be able to work at the Mayo Clinic Hospital with people with a diagnosis of cancer or other illnesses and I am continually inspired by their strength and courage.
